Maths Department Administrator job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Maths Department Administrator to join our successful Maths department. This role is ideal for someone with excellent administrative and organisational skills who is passionate about supporting education and making a positive impact behind the scenes. Experience of working in a tutoring or educational support environment would be highly desirable.

Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and in this role, you will play a key part in supporting their progress by ensuring the smooth and effective administration of the Maths department. You will work closely with the Head of Maths and teaching staff to help create a well-organised and productive learning environment.

We can offer you the opportunity to:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Maths department
  • Coordinate and organise departmental resources, assessments, and intervention programmes
  • Maintain accurate student data, tracking progress and supporting reporting processes
  • Assist with timetabling, meetings, and departmental communications
  • Support the organisation of exams, coursework, and revision materials

As a Maths Department Administrator, you will join an experienced and supportive team and will:

  • Contribute to the continued success of the Maths department
  • Provide high-quality administrative support with accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Work confidently with a wide range of staff and students
