This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious teacher to lead Maths across a successful and forward-thinking primary school.

The role

As Maths Lead, you will drive excellence in mathematics across the school while continuing to deliver high-quality teaching in your own classroom.

Maths leadership

  • Lead the development and delivery of a clear, ambitious Maths curriculum

  • Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement in Maths across all year groups

  • Support and develop colleagues to deliver consistently strong Maths teaching

  • Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform improvement strategies

  • Promote a love of Maths and a positive, confident learning culture

Classroom teaching

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire all learners

  • Ensure all pupils make strong progress through effective teaching and assessment

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed

Whole school contribution

  • Contribute to the wider life and ongoing development of the school

  • Support school priorities and continuous improvement

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
