We are excited to announce an opening for a Maths Second in Department to join our team Brixham College. The successful candidate will be an experienced Maths Teacher who is enthusiastic about embracing new ideas, demonstrates a positive attitude, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.

As Maths Second in Department you will be capable of planning and delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum, while keeping up-to-date with the latest curriculum developments.

Our Maths Second in Department will support the Head of Department and wider team by:

  • Contributing to the department’s development plan, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Ensuring an appropriate and ambitious curriculum embedded across all key stages.
  • Assisting in the development of the curriculum development to ensure the continued relevance to the needs of pupils, examining and awarding bodies and the Academy’s Aims and Development Plan objectives.

As a valued member of our team, you will maintain high expectations for both student achievement and behaviour. You will be dedicated to fostering student engagement, encouraging progress, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
