What skills and experience we're looking for
Mullion School, part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our successful and friendly Maths Faculty. Our fully staffed team of subject specialists love mathematics and are dedicated to sharing that passion with every student.
At Mullion School, nestled in the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, we are passionate about inspiring and supporting our students to “Dream big, fly high, and go far.” We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated maths teacher to join our wonderful and caring team. As part of our supportive and friendly school community, you will make a significant contribution to the quality of teaching and learning in mathematics. You will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in the subject.
About The Role
We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about making a difference through high-quality maths teaching. You will play a key role in building strong and effective relationships with students, parents, and staff, ensuring every student can “be the best they can be.” Your focus will be on helping students achieve their full potential in mathematics and beyond, supporting both their academic progress and their wider personal development.

Mullion School is located on the outskirts of Mullion Village. We are an 11-16 school with 565 students on role. Our student community spans the Lizard Peninsula with a large number of students travelling to school by bus each day. We serve arguably one of the most beautiful and unique areas of the country.
