Mayflower Assistant & Learning Mentor job summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and dedicated individual to become become our Mayflower Assistant and Learning Mentor, supporting the Mayflower Lead in our Alternative Provision Base. The successful candidate will work closely with the Inclusion Team to support young people working within the Alternative Provision Base. The successful candidate will provide targeted support to students within the school's Appropriate Provision base, focusing on those with SEMH needs, attendance barriers and academic challenges. The role includes mentoring, facilitating learning and support reintegration into mainstream education.
The Mayflower Team will work closely with the SENDCo to support pupils' progress and achievement and link with external professionals and agencies as appropriate.
This role is full-time, term-time - 37 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum. Actual salary £21,911.60 - £22,613.92.
