What skills and experience we're looking for

Studley Green Primary School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and energetic MDSA. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

The Midday Supervisory Assistant is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive behaviour of pupils during lunchtime in line with school policies. The role involves supervising children while they eat and take part in activities, both indoors and outdoors, as well as setting up and clearing the dining area, including cleaning tables and managing spillages. The post holder provides basic first aid, reports accidents or illness, and supports safeguarding procedures to maintain a safe environment. They also promote good behaviour, uphold the school’s ethos and values, and build positive relationships through effective communication with pupils and colleagues. In addition, the role requires participation in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development while maintaining high standards of professionalism, organisation, and care.
