Meal Time Assistant job summary

The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon, West Dorset & Plymouth, is looking to recruit a Meal Time Assistant to join the hard-working and friendly team at Colyton Primary Academy.


Colyton Primary Academy is a small school in the historic East Devon town of Colyton. Nestled between the hills and the sea, we aim to serve the community by providing a broad and enjoyable curriculum for the children in our care.

Situated in the heart of the town of Colyton our school is still housed in the original 1874 buildings! We pride ourselves on being part of the Colyton community and the school encourages and promotes these strong bonds we have with the town. At our school we aim for a high standard of education for all children. Our lessons engage pupils and our curriculum provides a breadth and richness of opportunity that significantly enhances their learning. Our pupils' behaviour and consideration for others contributes to the school being a vibrant and caring place to be.

We are looking for a warm and caring individual to assist the Head of School as required in order to care for the safety and wellbeing of children during the lunchtime period.

The position is for 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Term time only (38 weeks per year)
