Meal Time Assistant job summary

Vacancy - Meal Time Assistant Grade B

5 hrs per week (12:00-1:00pm), 38 weeks per year

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly created Westcountry Schools Trust, currently employing approximately 2000 staff and growing. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. Built on an extensive track record of excellence, the Trust combines a range of secondary colleges, primary schools and business units based in a variety of sites across Devon and Cornwall. We are also a stone’s throw from some of the best beaches and countryside in the country.

Due to ongoing growth and need of Sherford Vale School & Nursery, we currently require 1 x Meal Time Assistants, to support with pupil's needs during their lunch time. We are seeking to recruit highly supportive, friendly, and committed candidates to join our team.

The main purpose of the job is to assist serving lunches and provide lunchtime play supervision. The successful candidates will need to promote consistently high levels of behaviour and have an understanding of special needs.
