Meal Time Supervisor job summary

Meal Time Supervisors

We require a Mealtime Supervisor to join us, to work 14.58 hours per week to support during our break and lunchtimes. The working hours will be from 9:40 -11:00 and 11:50 to 13:25

The role involves:

  • Securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of the students during lunch time throughout the year and in all weathers

  • Ensuring students behaviour appropriately according to the guidance in the Positive Behaviour Policy

  • Responsible for ensuring those students clear away plates, crockery and cutlery at the end of each meal

  • Communicate with pupils during midday breaks to encourage healthy meal selection and oversee play activities

  • Report incidents in line with school policy

Staff work on a rota to ensure all areas of the site are covered and that pupils enjoy the opportunities available to them. Experience is preferred but not essential.
