Mealtime Assistant job summary

St Andrews Primary Academy in Chardstock are looking for a Mealtime Assistant to cover 5 lunchtimes per week for 1 hour per day.


We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:


  • Will be responsible for a safe and calm dining experience.
  • Will be able to build a rapport with children.
  • Will be able to support children during their lunchtime provision both in the dining room and on the playground.
  • Will be able to liaise both written and verbally with other school staff.
  • Will be physically able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the setup and clear-down for lunchtime.
