Medical Lead (Student Services) job summary

Meridian High School are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Lead (Student Services) to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial in providing medical support, first aid, and pastoral care to our students, ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met within the school environment. If you have experience in a similar role and a passion for supporting young people, we would love to hear from you!

You will be responsible for administering first aid, managing medical records, supporting students with ongoing health conditions, and working closely with staff and parents to promote a safe and supportive environment. • A relevant first aid qualification and experience in administering medical support in a school or similar setting.

• Ability to manage medical records, care plans, and coordinate with staff, parents, and external agencies.
• Confident in liaising with students, staff, and families with a compassionate and professional approach.
• Able to handle medical situations and emergencies with confidence and efficiency.

The Details:

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Employment Type: Permanent 

Salary: Specialist Point 1 - £27,061+ Outer London Weighting 

Actual Salary: £24,250.43 + Outer London Weighting 

Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week (8.00 until 4.00) term time only – Monday to Friday .
