Roll: 1,044 (450 in mixed Sixth Form) MFL Teacher (Spanish speaking) MPS/UPS, Full Time temporary maternity leave from November 2021 Required for November 2021 a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our outstandingly successful Modern Foreign Languages department. Language learning is highly prized by the school, with almost all girls taking either French or Spanish through to GCSE and offering French and Spanish at A level. Exam outcomes are outstanding. The department promotes the value of the spoken language and runs a range of clubs and cultural activities for students. The department is well-supported each year by a language assistant, and offers trips abroad and student exchanges to enhance students' experience of language learning. The school is fortunate to have a well-stocked library and a full-time librarian. A TLR allowance of 2A is available for a suitably qualified candidate, however, candidates who are not able to offer this level of experience are also welcome to apply.
