Mid Day Supervisor job summary

We are looking to recruit a Mid Day Supervisor.

The successful applicant will:

Provide a positive role model to all children in the academy within the age range of 4 -11 years.

Ensure that lunchtime activities are supported and managed in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures under the overall direction of the Senior Lunchtime Supervisor and the Head Teacher which may include- undertaking playground and play leadership duties and ensuring the children have a safe and fun playtime, organising games and helping to settle issues that arise.

Ensure the security and care of the children at the school.

Promote children's social development during the lunchtime period

Be responsible for the safeguarding and wellbeing of children.

Enjoys working as part of a supportive team

We are looking for someone who will:

Inspire and motivate our children with a love of learning

Have high expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour

Work effectively within a strong and committed team

Take a full and active role in all parts of school life

Be understanding and sympathetic to our Catholic ethos

Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of our children
