What skills and experience we're looking for

Following the extension of the universal free school meals programme, we wish to employ additional mid-day assistants to support children during the lunch period. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, are friendly, enthusiastic and who have lots of patience.

Successful candidates will be required to:

  • Supervise children during the lunch period
  • Encourage healthy-eating
  • Provide support to children with special needs, under the direction of the SEND Managers
  • Manage behaviour effectively
  • Encourage safe and enjoyable play
  • Cover First Aid (training provided)
