Midday Supervisor job summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and caring Midday Supervisor to join our team and support our children during the lunchtime period.

Hours: 1 hour 15 minutes per day (Mon- Wed)
Start time: 12:15pm
Finish time: 1:30pm
Contract: Part-time, term-time only

Main duties include:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and around the school

  • Supporting positive play and encouraging good behaviour

  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children

  • Helping younger children with routines such as opening lunch items and clearing trays

  • Working as part of a supportive team

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children

  • Is calm, patient and approachable

  • Can promote positive relationships and provide a nurturing environment

We have an excellent opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join us at Winhills Primary Academy.
Job purpose:

• To manage the day to day running of the Nursery to include co-ordinating the provision of a caring, safe, secure and stimulating environment, meeting the minimum Ofsted requirements.

• To plan a range of activities based on an observation and assessment cycle for children aged 2 – 4+ years.
