Midday Supervisor job summary

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team and help make lunchtimes a positive and enjoyable experience for all our pupils. The successful candidate will support children during the lunch break, encourage positive play, and help maintain a safe and happy environment. If you enjoy working with children and want to be part of our journey to make Bramble Academy the best it can be, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

To be successful you will:

  • Be able to nurture, inspire, and motivate pupils of all abilities during lunchtime activities.
  • Have a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
  • Enjoy working as part of a dedicated team to achieve the best for each and every pupil.

We are a one-form entry school that serves a changing community close to the centre of Mansfield Woodhouse. Our children are delightful, they enjoy coming to school and we enjoy teaching them, they are keen to learn and do well in all aspects of school life. Trained staff are available to support pupils’ wellbeing and mental health needs. Pupils new to the country are welcomed into the school. The elected school council gives pupils a voice. They proudly describe the school as ‘inclusive and diverse’. They are well prepared for modern British society.’

‘The trust has provided strong support for the school, including in developing the libraries and high-quality outdoor learning facilities.
