What skills and experience we're looking for

Faith, Ethos and Christian Distinctiveness

  • Lead and support Christian Youth Workers to grow Christian distinctiveness.
  • Develop and embed an 'Archway Way' for Christian practice and vision.
  • Provide expertise on the Church of England Vision for Education.
  • Support collective worship, tutor time and faith formation activities.
  • Providing pastoral support to the Trusts colleagues and pupils.
  • Act as lead for the Trust as a Growing Faith Hub.

Training, Professional Development and Capacity Building

  • Design and deliver research-led professional development for staff.
  • Lead training on Church of England academy identity and ethos.
  • Support SIAMS self-evaluation and improvement processes.

Strategic Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for Christian distinctiveness.
  • Lead quality assurance across worship, formation and pastoral programmes.
  • Use evidence-informed approaches to assess impact.
  • Manage budgets and physical resources relating to Trust faith development.

Community, Church & Family Engagement

  • Strengthen relationships between school, church and home.
  • Enable the agency and voice of children and young people in shaping faith practice.
  • Use social media and communication channels to share stories of Christian life.

Staff Conduct
