We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our academy, to work as part of a team supervising pupils during the school lunch break, which includes attending to their welfare and domestic needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising pupils immediately before, during and after the midday meal, including children who bring sandwiches
- Supervising pupils in the playground under the direction of the Lead Pastoral Practitioner
- Preventing potential dangers in the playground and approaching unauthorised personnel who enter academy grounds
- Supervising pupils in the playground under the direction of the Lead Pastoral Practitioner
Pay range:
SCP2 - £5,803.22 - (FTE: £24,413)
Term Time only - 39 weeks per year, 10 hours per week, permanent.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current First Aid qualification (or willing to work towards
- Ability to maintain discipline, command attention and encourage high standards of pupil behaviour at all times
- Ability to work under supervision, as a member of a team and individually
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 4-9 including Maths and English (or equivalent)
