Post Title: Midday Supervisor
Contract Type: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2026
Contract Hours/Weeks: 5 hours / 38 weeks (12pm-1pm Monday-Friday)
Grade: NJC Bexley 3 - 4 (£28,617 - £29,025)
Actual Salary: £3,331 - £3,378
Position Start Date: As soon as possible
Lunchtimes are a really important part of the day for children at Upland Primary School. Our midday supervisors organise a range of team games and a variety of physical activities to keep children, including those with additional needs, entertained and engaged throughout the lunch period. We are looking for a motivational, enthusiastic, and energetic person to join our team of skilled midday supervisors as soon as possible. Experience is not essential as training will be provided for the right person.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising pupils during lunch and playtime
- Promoting kindness, cooperation, and good behaviour
- Ensuring pupils’ safety and wellbeing
- Being a friendly, approachable presence
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children
- Is calm, fair, and approachable
- Is reliable and a good team player
