What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a committed, hardworking and caring Midday Supervisory Assistant to work alongside members of the lunchtime team to secure a caring and safe environment for pupils during the midday break. Responsibilities include lunchtime supervision of pupils in the playground and on play equipment, supporting in the dinner hall, leading playtime games and ensuring the safety, well-being and welfare of pupils over lunchtime.

Hours of work are: Monday - Friday, 11:45am- 13:00pm, 6.25 hours per week

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a calm and positive manner with pupils and assist in promoting positive lunchtime behaviour.
  • Work well as part of the midday supervisory team
  • Be reliable and flexible, working well under direction and using own initiative where necessary
  • Ideally have experience working with and supporting children and young people.
