This will include wiping tables, setting out chairs, putting up and taking down portable dining tables, sweeping the floor, helping the children cut up their food, and open their packets etc. as well as supervising them outside on the playground.

The position is for 1 hour and 40 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, 11.40 noon to 13.20pm. This makes a total of 8.33 hours each week during term time only.

You may be required to attend INSET days if it is a whole school training event e.g. safeguarding/first aid and you will be paid for this time.

There is some online training to complete as part of your induction e.g. safeguarding , health and safety, allergy awareness , so computer literacy is needed for this role.

The selection criteria will be used throughout the recruitment process as an objective test of assessing candidates at shortlisting, test and interview stages. Shortlisting will be completed by assessing against the advertised person specification. Our interviews will always include relevant questions relating to child protection and/or safeguarding, and will usually involve a child centred task.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible as the school reserves the right to close the advert early should we feel able to appoint an appropriate candidate.
