Midday Supervisor (Child Supervisory Support Officer) job summary

We are seeking a hardworking and flexible person to join our Midday Meals team at New Pastures Primary School to start as soon as possible.

We require a permanent Midday Supervisor for 5 hours per week to help and supervise children during their lunch period.

Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork are essential, as you will be joining a group of hardworking colleagues.

We are a split site school and the role may mean working at either site as needed.

Roles and responsibility:

To help pupils with their meals ensuring that all pupils receive the meals that the parents have ordered.

To supervise the pupils either in the hall or in the corridors/toilets.

To supervise and interact with pupils during outdoor playtime.

To be aware of any medical/dietary needs of those pupils in your care.

To help clean the hall during service as meals have been eaten.

There will also be a requirement for further training in the role - for example- Food Hygiene & Allergy e-learning courses and manual handling.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
