Midday Supervisor (Nursery Focus) – Kents Hill School and Nursery
6.25 hours per week (11.15am - 12.15pm) / 38 weeks per year
Initially 1 year fixed term contract
Start date - September 2025
Salary Grade A1 (FTE £24,404 - actual salary will be pro-rata)
Are you caring, patient, and passionate about early years? Kents Hill School and Nursery is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team, with a focus on supporting our nursery children during their lunchtime.
About the Role As our new Midday Supervisor, you’ll play an important part in the daily routine of our youngest learners. You’ll assist children with eating, encourage good table manners, support personal hygiene, and engage them in calm, nurturing play before they return to their learning activities.
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who:
Has a natural rapport with young children
Is reliable, kind, and supportive
Works well as part of a team and uses initiative when needed
Can maintain a safe and positive environment during lunch
Experience working with young children is desirable, but not essential—we’ll provide training and a welcoming environment.
