Midday Supervisor Lead job summary

Your Role:

  • Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground areas
  • Coordinate the midday supervisor team ensuring a safe environment
  • Act as a role model and provide support and guidance to colleagues
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime for all pupils
  • Be caring, hardworking, and open to training
  • Most importantly, have a genuine love for working with children

Main Purpose of the Role:

In your role as a Midday Supervisor Lead, you will supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable lunchtime for all. You will support, guide, and coordinate Midday Supervisors, helping to maintain a consistent approach to behaviour management and safeguarding procedures. You should be caring, hardworking, and open to training, with a genuine love for working with children.

Organisation:

  • Take charge of supervising pupils in designated areas.
  • Organise midday meals ensuring positive environment for all children
  • Assist with daily decisions on pupil use areas, such as during wet lunchtimes.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
