Thoresby Vale Primary Academy opened its doors to the children for the very first time in September 2025. It is a state-of-the-art facility, set in the heart of a new community in Sherwood Forest at Edwinstowe. The academy offers the best of a traditional curriculum alongside a formal ‘natural curriculum’, making use of its unique setting as a forest school. The academy opened with four classes of children and build to a one-form entry academy over the following years.
