Midday Supervisor job summary

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic midday supervisor to join our team.

You will help ensure pupils have a safe, happy and positive experience by supervising children in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising pupils during lunchtime period in the dining hall and playground
  • Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils
  • Assisting children where necessary
  • Encouraging healthy eating and good table manners
  • Reporting any incidents or concerns to senior staff
  • Supporting the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies

We are looking for someone who

  • Enjoys working with children
  • Is calm, patient and approachable
  • Has good communication skills
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Is reliable and flexible

Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
