Midday Supervisors job summary

We're looking for conscientious, enthusiastic and flexible Midday Supervisors who are hardworking and energetic and who have high expectations of pupils and a good sense of humour and fun.

This role is part time during term time: Up to 1 hr 30 mins between 11:30 am & 1 :30 pm depending on the requirements

In this instance, we are hoping to recruit both permanent, temporary and additional staff to our bank of relief Midday Supervisors.

The main Duties

  • Prepare dining hall by setting out furniture, plates, cutlery etc
  • Supervising and assisting children in the dining hall while eating.
  • Supervising in the playground after children have finished eating.
  • Recording any incidents or accidents
  • Clearing away furniture and eating utensils
  • Cleaning the dining hall ready for use by afternoon classes.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of working with primary age children, including children with additional needs.
  • The ability to encourage and inspire young people
  • An effective team worker, who understands a school's roles and responsibilities and their own position within these.
  • Food hygiene and first aid certificates would be advantageous.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
