Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

William Austin Junior School is looking to appoint two Midday Supervisors to enhance our busy team. The Midday Supervisory assistants are required to work 7 hours and 55 minutes per week over the lunch period . The role is to ensure the safety , general welfare and conduct of the pupils during the lunch break.

Level 1 Scale point 1 £ 17,842 per annum – pro rata £3,209 (actual salary)

Term-time only

Candidates will be required to:

Have previous experience of working with young children or in a school environment.

Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and have a good command of English.

Have the ability to follow guidelines and procedures.

Have the ability to work as part of a team.

Have a mature and positive attitude to the role.

Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English
