We are looking to recruit a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Midday Supervisor. This role is vital in ensuring our pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed lunchtime experience. Hours of work, 12pm - 1pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children during lunch in the dining hall and playground
  • Encourage positive play and social interaction
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils at all times
  • Promote good behaviour and report any incidents to class teachers or the Headteacher
  • Assist with setting up and clearing the dining area

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • has a friendly and approachable manner
  • has the ability to work well with children and as part of a team
  • genuinely enjoys working with children, showing them respect and fostering their all-round development
  • is committed, adaptable, reliable and resilient
  • has a calm, patient and consistent approach 
  • has good communication skills
  • has experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential
  • is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
