Midday Supervisory Assistant

Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a part-time Midday Supervisory Assistants based at Ludwell Primary School on a fixed-term basis.

Hours: 5 hours per week, 12.00noon – 1.00pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year (term time only, excluding TD days).

Salary: B2, £23,656 pro rata, per annum, (actual salary £2679 per annum)

Required to start: 24th February 2025 or as soon as possible

End date: 23rd July 2025

Ludwell Primary School would like to appoint a midday supervisory assistant who will supervise, facilitate and promote positive, active play at lunchtimes.

We are keen to hear from individuals who are patient, calm, organised and adaptable. Being able to work as part of a team is essential, as well as being able to use your own initiative and adopt a positive outlook.

Duties will include the supervision of pupils, either in the lunch hall or other areas in the school, whilst they are eating lunch or taking part in lunchtime activities. Associated duties will include clearing and cleaning of dining hall and equipment including light manual handling.

The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.
