Working pattern

Part time: Part time (12 hours 30 minutes per week, 8am until 8.30am and 3.30pm until 6pm, Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days).

Contract type

Fixed term - Fixed until 13th February 2026

Full-time equivalent salary

£12.65 per hour (£24,404 pro rata per annum)

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
  • Has experience of working with children (4 – 11 years old) in a play / educational setting;
  • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
  • Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
  • Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
