Wraparound Club Assistant job summary

Cranborne CE First School & Nursery are seeking a person to fulfil the responsibilities' of Wraparound Club Assistant for afterschool, 3pm - 4pm Monday to Friday.

First term until 31st August 2026.

We would be very interested to hear from you if you are able to:

Confidently interact with children with enthusiasm and patience

Build relationships with pupils, staff and parents and show excellent interpersonal skills

To meet the social and emotional needs of the children

Foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and able to set clear boundaries for children’s behaviour.

Successful applicants will have:

A good understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety procedures

A calm and positive approach and a warm personality

A childcare qualification or equivalent and experience of working with young children

Good time management and organisational skills

A commitment to excellence in all they do, fostering high expectations of all pupils, including vulnerable groups.
