We wish to appoint a Midday Supervisor Assistant to join our happy and positive school. Lunchtime is an important part of our pupils’ school day and we require caring and patient staff to support our children. This includes supporting eating meals, mirroring expectations, engaging in play and keeping children safe. 

We are looking for someone to: 

  • Assist in the dining hall where needed e.g. clearing away, setting up
  • Support the needs and wellbeing of children in the hall and outside in order to ensure the safety of everyone.
  • Ensure lunchtime is a positive experience for the children.
  • Encourage good eating habits and assisting children where necessary.
  • Maintaining a safe lunch environment, e.g. wiping up spillages to ensure a safe and ordered environment is maintained, supporting children in getting and clearing their dinners.
  • Ensure relevant staff are informed if a there is a reason to bring a child to their attention (illness, injury or other issues that might need to be communicated).
  • Have a clear knowledge of the safeguarding procedures in school and be confident to follow these.
