  • Temporary for 1 year, with possibility of becoming permanent

Alongside our wonderful Chef, the kitchen lunch team have a farm to fork experience for the children and families at Lakenham. To fully support this team, we require another Midday Supervisory Assistant.

This is the perfect job for someone who is proactive, likes children and is willing to get stuck in to ensure the best lunch experience the children can have. 

TASKS

  • To work to strict deadlines so that the hall is ready for lunch, including putting the tables out for the children and tidying up after so that the hall can be used for other activities
  • Support children getting their food and back to their tables, if they require this.
  • To support children with cutting up food if necessary, supporting them to be their best within the dinner hall.
  • To ensure all plates, cutlery and cups are regularly taken to the kitchen, so they can wash up.
  • To clean trolley, dining hall tables and floors on a daily basis to ensure that the hall is clean.

No formal qualifications although post holder is expected to be friendly, like children and caring.
