Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) job summary
We are looking to employ an additional Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA). The core purpose of the successful applicant will be to meet the social and emotional needs of the children of St Mary’s C of E Junior Academy, in order to enable them to have a positive lunch-time experience so that they are ready to return to class after lunch, ready to learn.
Duties will involve setting out/putting away tables and chairs and supervising and engaging with the children in the dinner hall and on the playground.

This post comes under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. St. Mary’s C of E Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A DBS check will be required and the appointment will be subject to satisfactory references.
