Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) job summary

Morley Church of England Primary Academy would like to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to work 7.5 hours per week. We are a small, nurturing, school on the outskirts of Wymondham and we place a high priority on love and compassion in our daily work with the children and our community of staff and parents/carers.

The successful candidate will have the wonderful task of working with our delightful and engaging children. They will be required to work with our team of MSAs to create the best possible lunchtime period for our children, enabling them to be fully included and have happy play times.

We are looking for someone who:
• Can supervise children under the direction of the Executive Headteacher/Assistant Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
• Can ensure the safety and well-being of children and adherence with school procedures while in play areas, the dining room and classrooms
• Can help and encourage children to eat their lunch
• Can help, encourage and support the children as they play
• Is able to move tables and chairs with the help of the MSA team
• Is able to carry out light cleaning duties
