About Our School

We are a specialist school supporting the individual needs of pupils with significant learning and intellectual disabilities in the heart of Norwich.

Parkside has high but different expectations for each of its pupils. Parkside understands that pupils' different needs require different provision and in turn this leads to different outcomes for each of our young people. Pupils at Parkside have a highly personalised route to support them becoming a confident and active citizen. Parkside does this through teaching independence, communication and self-regulation.

Our pupils do not take GCSEs as this is not an appropriate route for them, instead we focus on life skills and functional skills in literacy and numeracy. The Parkside School encourages a community spirit, where pupils learn to care and look after one another.

We are looking for someone who:

  • will be a vital addition to our existing support team, providing valuable assistance and supervision during lunchtime
  • is able to assist with playground activities and lunchtime support with groups of children where needed
