Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a friendly and flexible Midday Supervisory Assistant.

The successful candidate will work with our midday team to ensure that we provide an efficient and pleasant lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Duties of the role are:

  • Supervise and assist the children during their lunch
  • Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained
  • Supervise and monitor behaviour in the playground or other designated areas during indoor play
  • Lead the children in the establishment of suitable activities
  • Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe
  • Be aware of and follow the school’s safeguarding, fire, medical and other emergency procedures
  • Clearing the dining hall and supervision of pupils both inside the school and in the playground.
