What skills and experience we're looking for

Required as soon as possible, Woolley Wood School wishes to recruit a Midday Supervisory Assistant to work 7.5 hours per week (11.45 a.m. until 1.15 p.m. each day) for 39 weeks per year. Woolley Wood School educates and cares for primary pupils (2-11) with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities including those with profound and complex needs.

The MSA role at Woolley Wood School is very important and involves the following duties:

  • Setting up the dining area
  • Plating up pupil’s lunches
  • Assisting pupils with eating and helping them back to the classroom
  • Cleaning the dining area
  • Supporting a small group of children to access lunchtime activities
  • Supervision of children during lunchtime outdoor play
  • Adhering to pupil’s lunchtime requirements (having awareness of allergies and special diets etc.)
