Midday Supervisory Role job summary

MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT

St-Edmunds Catholic Primary School

St Mary’s Street

Bungay, NR35 1AY

We wish to appoint 1 MSA - 7.5 hours per week, term time only.

£4174.16 annually / £12.85. per hour

General MSA duties:

To cover all lunchtime supervision and engage with the pupils

To promote the welfare and safety of all pupils

To work co-operatively in a team

To organise activities for the pupils

To assist in hot school dinner and packed lunch arrangements encouraging healthy eating and polite manners

Pupil Specific MSA duties:

Ensuring safety and well-being in the dining hall, playground and the classroom

Initiating and participating in play activities

Encouraging positive behaviour and eating skills

And for all MSA’s , when necessary:

Administering minor first aid

Intimate care after any ‘accidents’

General clearing up duties e.g. after spills

We are looking for calm, caring and friendly people, who enjoy being with children and who are willing to engage through play.
