What skills and experience we're looking for

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a current and clean UK driving licence (must include full category D1);
  • Have up to date MiDAS Training
  • Be a driven, proactive, and positive individual with an unwavering commitment to continuously improving their own standards;
  • Have a true growth mindset, exceptional work ethic, can-do attitude and a sense of humour;
  • Be professional in all aspects of their role and flexible in their approach to tasks;
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills;
  • Work well as part of a team;
  • Have the knowledge and experience of the context in which Wath Academy operates.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wath Academy for an enthusiastic and committed Minibus Driver to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals.

The role involves working a morning or afternoon shift to provide a safe, professional and friendly transfer/shuttle service within South Yorkshire for Wath students. We are particularly interested in applicants who can work flexible daytime hours.

Wath Academy already has a strong team of professionals delivering high quality learning in and out of the classroom who work together to achieve our Academy vision ‘to deliver exceptional learning experiences that enable all young people to thrive in a competitive world and lead successful and fulfilling lives’.
