What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have previous experience in caretaking and cleaning work. You will have knowledge of maintenance and cleaning techniques and an awareness and understanding of statutory guidelines such as Health & Safety, COSHH guidelines etc. The trust takes pride in staff development so you must be willing to undertake further training and development which is appropriate to your role.

Ideally you will have experience of working within a school setting but this is not essential. Other essential skill sets include responding to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. hazards, accidents etc.) and the ability to undertake manual work and perform tasks as included in the job description.

Further details about the role

Summit Learning Trust has a great opportunity to recruit a Mobile Site Officer to join our established site teams who play a critical part in providing day to day support for our 9 academies. Whilst you’ll join the central trust team, you will be allocated to work across the academies, so it’s key that you have a flexible approach to work and the ability to travel between sites.

Your main role will be to assist the site teams across all 9 academies in the provision of efficient and effective caretaking and cleaning support of the school sites, including general site duties and maintenance work.
