Our Modern Foreign Languages department plays a central role in promoting international mindedness and cultural understanding across the school. Languages are highly valued within our curriculum, and we are committed to ensuring students develop confidence, fluency, and enthusiasm in their language learning. Through engaging teaching, cultural enrichment opportunities, and a strong focus on communication, we aim to equip students with the linguistic skills needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Modern Foreign Languages Assistant to join our ambitious and supportive Languages team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong Spanish language skills and a passion for education to make a meaningful contribution to students’ language development.

The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in developing students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through planned activities and targeted intervention. They will work with individual students, small groups, and whole classes to improve students’ confidence and fluency in spoken Spanish, supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the department.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about languages, enjoys working with young people, and is keen to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking educational environment.
