Morning Receptionist job summary

LINE MANAGED BY: Chief Financial Operations Officer

DATE: June 2026

PAY RANGE: AHS Pay Range 2 (£4,693 - £5,085)

Part-time role: 7.5 hours/week, term time plus Inset Days

Hours: Monday to Friday: 07.30 to 09:00

To be the first point of contact for visitors to the school, for deliveries and for telephone calls, and to deal with student and staff enquiries. Running the school’s reception and working with colleagues to operate a welcoming and effective service.

The work of the Receptionists will be judged against this job description and any targets set as part of the appraisal process. Post holders will be expected to undertake appropriate CPD activities, as required.

The post holders will need to maintain an up-to-date first aid at work qualification.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
