Music Teacher job summary
Music is a core part of our school offer. We are looking to appoint an excellent Music Teacher, with proven track record and experience, to help us build on our broad offer. We would want you to develop our existing commitment to Music teaching, to shape our offer to make the best of your musical talents and involve others when you require that. In addition to teaching each class you will oversee our peri-music/part time instrumental teachers and after school music clubs.
We will offer you a whole school community that is committed to music teaching and well-resourced music rooms. Should you require it, we can commission support from the Tri-borough Music Hub and an experienced music teacher in our partner school, Marlborough Primary.
At Colville, we value working effectively and positively as a team. The role requires applicants who are able to work collaboratively and develop positive professional relationships with colleagues, parents and children.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB disclosure.
Commitment to safeguarding
