Due to the continued growth of our successful college, the Performing Arts Department requires an enthusiastic Music Teacher with excellent aspirations and classroom management skills. You will have the opportunity to teach from Year 7-11, across a range of abilities. Progression to teaching KS5 Music is also an option for the right candidate. We have a longstanding record of supporting our students to make good progress, across all age ranges, and also have an excellent record of results. You will be joining a very experienced team, who regularly share ideas and resources and are committed to achieving excellence for our students. Our lessons are structured to provide stretch and challenge to all students, regardless of their ability level. At Hailsham Community College we deliver both GCSE Music, and the RSL Rock School award at KS4. At KS5 we offer Btec Music Practice.

Our two form entry primary phase opened in September 2019 and we are eagerly awaiting the completion of our brand new state-of-the-art development on the secondary site. New facilities include a three-storey teaching block containing 22 classrooms and SEND hub, a fully refurbished Post 16 Learning Centre and a floodlit all weather sports pitch to complement our already extensive sporting facilities.
