Are you a dedicated and highly effective educator committed to raising the achievement of all students within your subject area? Join us as a Teacher, where you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality learning, utilising a range of teaching and learning strategies to ensure student success. This role may also offer an opportunity to work in our excellent creative and performing arts department on a casual basis prior to the contract start date.

This position requires a professional who is aware of strategies for improving learning, understands curriculum developments, and is creative in finding solutions to enhance student performance.

About the Department:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Music to join our current team across Outwood Academy Valley and Worksop Post 16 Centre.

We aim to appoint a music specialist with the skills and passion to be an active member in this popular area of the curriculum, someone who is an outstanding classroom teacher and has high standards both in terms of behaviour and quality of work and will maintain the success and stability of our valued department.

The academy is incredibly proud of the quality of its school productions and performing arts. The success of the yearly productions are well received within the local community and the regular music concerts have showcased some amazing talent. The successful applicant with therefore need to be committed to extra-curricular music, developing both soloists and ensembles, and showing an understanding of how music can create some of the best experiences a student may have in the year.
