Music Teacher

Salary MPS 1-6 / UPS 1-3

Part Time – 2 days a week

Shenley Brook End School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Music with an ability to teach across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will have a real drive to deliver exciting and innovative lessons and will be keen to teach Music within our school community. You will also have a determination to assist in and help develop participation and interest in extra curricular activities. Music currently enjoys an excellent uptake in courses and results are strong.   

We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers.

The ideal candidate will:

·         Have a passion for teaching

·         Have experience of teaching across Key Stage 4 and 5, including exam groups

·         Have a high regard for their learning environment and resources

·         Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students

·         Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students

·         Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
