Music Teacher Vacancy at Pilton Community College job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Music teacher to teach music across the full ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong knowledge of music technology and a passion for the subject are essential.

This is a part-time, permanent position working 0.5 FTE 39 weeks per year, as of September 2020*. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Music teacher, or Newly Qualified Music teacher, to join our friendly and rapidly improving school in Barnstaple. The successful candidate will be a creative practitioner who delivers engaging and imaginative lessons, with a specialist knowledge of music technology through all Key Stages. You will have a commitment to supporting our broad range of extra-curricular activities that enable our students to explore their enjoyment of the subject and develop their creative skills further.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher and will have the advantage of:
