Do you have the qualifications and caring approach to succeed as our Nursery and Extended Schools Lead?

If so, we are looking for a caring, friendly and dedicated qualified Lead Practitioner to join us at our Ofsted graded Outstanding Nursery. The 60 place Nursery is part of a purpose built Early Years Village offering high quality childcare and education for children from 3 months to 5 years, for 51 weeks of the year.

Our setting offers a free flow approach across the age phases where children are able to access the indoor and outdoor environments alongside structured learning experiences in small groups. We offer a range of activities including outdoor learning, balance ability and much more.

We have a strong team approach in a friendly and supportive child focused environment. The Academy is committed to supporting staff wellbeing and staff development with opportunities for progression and working with others in a range of different roles with a range of expertise.

Our Nursery and Extended Schools Lead ensures that our practitioners deliver a high standard of care and education for our children.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the senior leadership team to ensure the effective organisation of both provisions, maintaining high standards for all pupils. This exciting opportunity will suit someone with;

  • The ability to lead the philosophy of 'learning through play'
  • Experience of supporting disadvantaged children including those with SEND
  • Excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills
  • Experience of leading others
  • Knowledge of relevant current legislation and statutory requirements
  • An early years qualification
